About Course

Competency and professional skills training for special education paraeducators. Legacy Traditional School special education paraeducators will access skills-based training spanning six core areas rooted in the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) identified competencies for paraeducators. 

What Will You Learn?

  • Throughout the training, you will obtain an introduction to the world of special education and the role of the para educator at Legacy Traditional Schools. You will review the paraeducator roles and responsibilities, ethics and professionalism, legal foundations, and confidentiality. Have a great course!
