About Course

Were you missing required PWN’s during your annual site visit? Was a PWN called out of opposite or regulatory statements? Was an initial placement PWN missing? If so, this training will help you understand the required times a PWN needs to be issued as well as how to fill in each section of a PWN.

*While these trainings are geared towards components of Arizona’s monitoring all states are welcome as the information presented applies to every IEP

What Will You Learn?

  • Participants will learn how many PWN's are required for an initial evaluation, re-evaluation, and annual IEP.
  • Participants will learn how to document the what and why for proposal and refusal actions as well as other options considered.
  • Participants will also learn what information/statements cannot be used when writing a PWN.
