About Course

Whether you have experience working with students with disabilities or are new to ESS, this course will help guide you in providing specially designed instruction to increase student’s academic growth. This is a 3-part course that will focus on: What is SDI? Who is responsible? What does it look like? And how to effectively lesson plan. The recordings for all three sessions are now uploaded.

This is the course listing for part 2. You will need to locate and enroll in part 1 and 3 separately.

What Will You Learn?

  • Articulate what SDI is and is not, giving examples & non-examples
  • Create ways to adapt and/or enrich instruction instead of giving accommodations
  • Identifying strategies to address the unique needs of students
